Last day of Wheelock Reads...how do you celebrate? Read at the courtyard. Don't let the sun fool you; it was chilly out there.

11th Annual Spring Fling

Each class had a representative to demonstrate the cool things a catapult can do!
This catapult used Legos and lots of duct tape!


What can a lever do?

It can launch a marshmallow, of course. Students researched different designs and created the coolest catapults. All of our designs were successful and marshmallows were flying.





Wheelock Reads

There were many exciting events, but today was one of my favorites. Suzy Kline visited Wheelock and told the importance of writing everyday. She is an inspiration. Our awesome PTO purchased tiny notebooks for our students. We had library today and it nice to see so many kids reading Suzy's books.

Wheelock Reads at the Beach
