Benjamin Franklin Presentation
Did you know Benjamin Franklin loved to read? Although he only went to school for two years, he went on to discover many important things! He was a great scientist and inventor. Ask your child to tell you a few things he/she learned from the presentation.

Reading our Informational Reports
The students worked so hard writing amazing informational books. Today, they had the chance to read some of the books and write about something they learned. We learned a lot! Did you know that a cat's claws can come in and out? Did you know that the longest game in the history of baseball had 25 innings?

Making Words on the iPads!
The students used an iPad app called Magnetic ABC to make words. This is a fun way to practice phonics. Try it at home to practice your spelling words!

Paper Plate Pals
The students chose a realistic fiction book to read. When they finished their books, they had to design a paper plate to show the main character from the story. Then, they attached cards to give information about the book, the main character, and setting. Finally, they told us about their favorite part of the story.
