Grade Three Music Performance

The program featured singing, recorder, student compositions, percussion, and folk dancing. The students did an amazing job, and we are so proud of them. Congratulations to Mrs. Stover for all of her hard work to make this program possible.

"Taxation without Representation"

The colonists did not have a say in what laws or taxes were passed in England.  Do you think this was fair or unfair? We participated in an activity to see what it was like to be taxed on things we use everyday.

Reader's Theater

When Suzy Kline visited, she had the teachers act out a chapter of Herbie Jones.  We also performed our own reader's theater plays in our class.

Suzy Kline Visits Wheelock

We enjoyed a wonderful visit with Suzy Kline and she told us about the seeds for her stories.  The CSA provided the students with a mini notebook so they can record their ideas.  Thanks, CSA! How many Horrible Harry books have you read?  Which one is your favorite?

Jump Rope for Heart

Can you do an atomic jump? You can if you practice.  Mark Rothstein taught us about jumping rope and good character!  Some students are deciding to raise money for Jump Rope for Heart.  Have fun jumping!
