Problem Solving in Math
Do you have a garden at home? We talked about how gardens are planted in rows. We have 5 tomato plants, 6 pepper plants, 7 onion plants, and 6 corn plants. If we want to plant the same number of plants in each row, how many rows could we have? The students used square tiles to figure out different solutions and recorded them on paper. We found many different ways to plant our garden. This lead to a great discussion with multiplication. Ask your child to explain how they solved the problem!

Field Trip to Plymouth
The students learned so much about the Wampanoags and Pilgrims. They were able to go on board the Mayflower II and learn about the voyage.
We would like to thank our amazing parent chaperones. What was your favorite part of the trip? Let us know in the comments section.
